Traveling by Car: Part Two

Rental Cars –

Credit CardsPlan on going on a trip and renting the vehicle? Well these simple tips will give you a REAL look into renting one.It was once an easy task in renting a car because it was cash-based and people actually brought the cars back.

  • But through time, people took advantage and with a rise in technology, cash-based options are very limited and hard to come by and can be very expensive.
  • Most car rental companies require that you have a credit card, not a DEBIT card. Most of them require a minimum deposit of $250 and that is NOT including the car rental price, taxes and fees.
  • Plus, don’t forget about the extras that you may want to include, such as a car seat, GPS or prepay for fuel. I do know of one car rental place that only requires you to pay a deposit of only 15% of your rental fee.
