Going away is not a bad habit at all. Some people will work so hard that they will forget to take time out for themselves. Today’s average person will work more than 10 hours a day, over forty hours a week and some will work at least seven to ten days straight. Talk about body overkill. Yes, just like the mind the body needs rest too.
Taking time to let yourself relax is not cheating on your job or your business. It simply means that you care about yourself to know that you, your mind and body need that state of relaxation so that the body may revive itself.
Just a change from the usual is a refreshing feeling to the body. Go for a walk in a different area from where you live. Yes, that is considered traveling because you are not in your home. Going to new place to eat or tryong something new may peak interests that you never you had. Wherever you travel no matter how small the steps are they are worth taking. How will you know if you never tried? 🙂
Some many miss out beacuse they are scared to step out of their comfort zone. Yes, travel does involve risks such as falling love with hotel that you found, that car that you always wanted to drive or that cruise to that destination that you always wanted to go to. Go check out that restaurant or catch a movie instead of streaming it.
Whenever you get the chance to take that vacation remember that in the end your body will thank you so much. You will see and feel the difference after about three to four hours. Don’t force the body to work because that defeats the purpose of relaxing. You should try it sometimes, it does feel good.
